PROJECT:

Logo + brand + e-commerce website + all the things

CLIENT: Bella Laine

OBJECTIVE: This local Key West artist and candle maker found herself needing to scale her business, but didn't quite know where to start.

CHALLENGE: The first thing we did was design her logo and establish her brand. I wanted to capture the hand crafted essence, plus touches of the Key West vibe. I also wanted to make the logo versatile across channels and platforms. The next item was her eCommerce website that I designed using Shopify. During the web design process, she also locked in a brick & mortar studio space/artist collective so we had to pivot the messaging on her website a bit to also drive customers to her new location.

SOLUTION: For the logo, I had her hand paint multiple versions of her signature bird that she paints on all of her pieces, the business name, and the tagline we landed on. I digitized them, and we went through several iterations and color palettes, coming up with the final product. Since she had no idea where to start on putting together an eCommerce website, I guided the journey with strategic questioning, collaboration, and ideas. www.bellalaineart.com
